Busy Things Review – Educational Website For Kids With Discount Code

As a parent and childminder I am always on the look out for fun new ways to encourage learn.  Over the years I have tried a few online programmes but they have failed to engage my boys.

Now we have found a fun new educational site, Busy Things.

Busy Things is a subscription based online learning programme. It covers the English, Scottish, Welsh and Australian national curriculum.

With us being from the UK, we use the English National Curriculum from 3 years old to 11 years old. Busy Things covers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) from 30-50 months, Key Stage One (Infants) and Key Stage Two (Juniors).

Busy Things cover a wide range of subjects from maths to literacy, phonics, art, music, geography, history, science, coding and more!

Busy Days allows you to add up to 5 profiles, perfect if you have more than one child.

You can customise each profile and by entering your childs date of birth Busy Things helps select the appropriate stage of learning for your child. With 700+ games and activities, believe me when I say the kids are kept busy.

First Impressions

Busy Things host colourful characters. It’s bright with fun graphics, children are drawn into the world of learning! With the use of ‘silly’ sounds and ‘monster-like’ characters the children laugh while they play and learn. All the activities are game based, which I think is brilliant as children learn best through play. They don’t even realise that they’re learning. Bonus!

Currently, my 3 youngest sons are 3, 6 and 8 years old. They are in each area of the National Curriculum that Busy Things cover. So this is perfect for us! With all 3 of them being hooked on Busy things, the ability to have 5 profiles on one account is so practical.

As my boys seem to love Busy Things we had to find a way to allow them all on at the same time! We discovered that Busy Things is desktop, laptop, tablet and phone friendly! We’ve tested them on them all!

The site is easy to navigate, and even though my 3 year old son can not read yet, he has got used to the pictures and chooses what he wants to go on independently!

I love how my boys are learning and using valuable computing skills, which I personally see as vital. The way that the world of technology is moving forward computer skills are compulsory.

Every time my boys or myself go on Busy Things, we are discovering more and more features. Such as, as a parent I can find related activities to enhance and progress my boys learning.

Also each activity gives you the information of which area it covers within the curriculum.

I also love the way that there is an option to be able to choose activities depending on the subject and topic within the selected curriculum.

Final Verdict

Well Busy Things has certainly made an impact on my boys.

We as a family, we highly recommend Busy Things. It’s amazing, all your childs learning needs are in one place!

At £4.49 per month or £34.99 for a year membership,  I think it is reasonably priced and I would be more than happy to continue the membership once it has ended. I mean, look at all of the highly stimulating activities you have access to! There’s hours upon hours of fun and learning! This is one games site I do not mind my sons being ‘addicted’ to.

As its name suggests, it’s keeping them very busy indeed!

I can not praise Busy Things enough!
