Chewy Moon – Healthy Snacks For Kids In A Subscription Box With Your First Box FREE!!!

When Chewy Moon got in contact with me to introduce us to their children’s healthy snack box subscription service I couldn’t wait to give it a try it.

As a family, we are always looking for ways to eat healthier in a way that my boys will enjoy and not turn their noses up at. (I have a couple of picky eaters!)

Here in the Rocks household we love subscription boxes – there’s nothing like a box of surprises coming to your door on a regular basis! My boys love the element of surprise, especially if it’s addressed to them!

We all know kids seem to have a radar when it comes to healthy food and avoiding it! Put a packet of sweets in front of them or a bowl of fruit, i’m guessing that the majority of kids would choose the sweets! Obviously, I could be wrong, as all children are individuals, after all. But you get the jest of what i’m saying.

Chewy Moon provide affordable subscriptions starting from £2.99 for a Petit Box subscription every two weeks. The Chewy Moon Petit Box Subscription Snack Boxes  contain five tasty but healthy snacks.

Chewy Moon also provide a Grande Box Subscription at £4.99 every two weeks, which includes 10 healthy snacks. Including an option to add a Sibling Box for £4.50.

The subscription is also flexible, allowing you to cancel at anytime. It also lets you customise the content of your boxes, perfect for fussy eaters.

All of the snacks in Chewy Moon are 100% natural, with no added sugar or nasties – just great tasting, natural and healthy snacks. They are also created by nutritionists who are experts in children’s nutrition which gives me faith that they know the sort of things that will be good for children to eat. Not only that but, Chewy Moon snacks have been sampled and approved by kids themselves for taste, colours and shapes! Also Chewy Moon have considered kids changing nutritional needs as they grow. Customising the snack boxes based on your child’s age and activity level.

The whole Chewy Moon package is a box of fun. Containing not only your yummy snacks, but also nutritional facts, fun facts cards and a sticker book where in each individual snack pack is a sticker to add to it.

Upon opening the Chewy Moon box I was surprised to see that each selection of snacks were just the right size for my boys to have as a snack without spoiling meal times. Ideal as a healthy lunch box treat. Each of my boys received a variety of five different assortments of snacks each.

I must say I was very apprehensive that my boys wouldn’t like them as some of the flavours would be new to them. But to my surprise my boys loved their snacks. Even the picky eaters. I think the presentation and names of the products helped too! Making them more likely to try them.

The content of the boxes included things such as

  • Strawberry stars
  • Cocoa Flapjack
  • Cherry raisins
  • Cheese and baguettes

There is also the option to buy the snacks separately in packs of 5!

I have to confess I tried them with my boys and I loved them! My favourite was the Cola Raisins and Cherry Raisins!

The whole content of the box kept my boys engaged too. They ended up helping each other find the stickers in their sticker books and swapping any multiples they had!

Overall I highly recommend Chewy Moon as I love the idea of all my boys enjoying and actually eating healthy nutritionally balanced snacks. I will certainly be buying these in for school packed lunches and snacks for our days out.
