When Kate from How To Feel Sexy In Big Knickers contacted me to review her course on body positivity and learning to love your body after having a baby, I was intrigued and jumped at the chance.
As a Mum of 5, I know the battle that new mums go through with the changes pregnancy makes to our bodies. The struggle of accepting those changes.
Before I had Cameron, my eldest son. Nearly 16 years ago, I was anorexic. So you can just imagine the struggle I had watching my body change.
After I had my second son, Harvey, I was a healthy size 8-10, but my body was totally different. My boobs were bigger, I was curvier.
By the time I was 30 I had been diagnosed with an under active thyroid and had 3 further pregnancies 2 years apart. I was over weight. For the first time in my life I had a Mum Tum. My boobs weren’t as pert as they used to be. I had even more stretch marks.

The course is through Teachable.com and is spread over 4 modules. Each module has bite sized lectures based on a specific area and includes practical exercises to help you put and apply what you’ve learnt to your own situation.
If done in one go, it will take between 2-3 hours total. Unless you want to take your time on the exercises. You can come back to the course, perfect for when baby is napping and you’re resting.
Each module has a good balance between being easy to complete whilst giving you everything you need to know.
How To Feel Sexy In Big Knickers contains everything you need to feel positive about yourself after having a baby. The course doesn’t involve any dieting to lose weight or exercising to change your shape, you don’t even have to get dressed to do it!
All you need is wifi and a dream!

I personally wish I had found this course years ago. With having a history of body image and confidence issues, I struggled massively with my body image post baby with each of my 5 boys.
Even though I am a lot better than I was years ago, this course has definitely helped to improve the way I see and feel about my body!

- your feelings relating to your body and how you treat it
- current circumstances and how it affects body image
- dangers of social media
- letting go of the past and underlying issues
