Tangle From Zuru Review- The Ultimate Sensory Fidget Toy

Having two children with Sensory Processing Disorder means sensory fidget toys are a staple in our house and for my boys to use at school!

One of our favourites is Tangle By Zuru.

Tangle is one of the most highly recommended educational and therapeutic toys worldwide for an incredibly wide range of Special and Additional Needs. The shape, colour, texture and visual impact of Tangle stimulates the brain and makes Tangle a fun and functional toy!

MCKENZIE ZURU TANGLE

Tangle is the original fidget toy, and a firm favourite for children and schools. The sensory and motor stimulation Tangle provides has been found to help stimulate and maintain attention, as well as evidence showing that they help improve maths and reading comprehension.

Currently, Tangle have 5 different styles and designs. Classic, Crazy, Metallic, Sparkle and Wild, Which is the style we were sent to review.

I personally can’t recommend Tangle enough, they are the ultimate fidget toy on the market.

They are just the right size to fit in anyones hands. They are very robust, allowing them to be handled over and over again, without breakages! The colours are stimulating and pretty funky cool! They’re also compact enough to put in a small bag or pocket. Meaning you can even fidget discretely. Perfect for use in schools.

How Can a Tangle Help Your Child?

Increased Focus and Concentration

According to research, when people with anxiety and stress can control or direct their movements, they can also improve focus and concentration. Movement and sensory input can be essential for learning and carrying out tasks as it requires people to use both the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

Serve as Minor Distractions

Fidget toys serve as minor distractions which can boost focus and productivity by giving your child’s mind a break and making it easier to pay attention.

Have a Calming Affect

While anxiety, stress and other disorders such as ADHD can affect the entire body, they most notably affect the hands and fingers. While fidget toys are not a cure for these problems, they can be used to calm your child, as fidgeting and the repetitive motion of  fidget toys can also boost concentration and productivity as they help in calming you down. Fidget toys give children a way of keeping their hands busy.

This is surely one of a kind toy. And, I am pretty sure that it will help with all those things you have mentioned above; Concentration and Focus. And, it definitely will induce calmness in your kids which can be really important.

I love this idea. Such a lovely tactile toy which completely absorbs you. I can see why it would be so therapeutic. Great idea for Christmas as well I think.

love the look of this and think it is great for children to focus. I think schools should allow more children to have these when listening in class to prevent more distracting forms of fidgeting
